    18 minutes for VOB vs 28 minutes for .VR files

    can anyone explain why this is?

    I never noticed a difference.....even on my old clunker PC. Maybe it is the read rate of an RW disc?
    Most of those buggers read pretty damn slow....mine do anyway.
