I have a Quick Time movie that I wish to convert to DVD.
The full file extension is <filename>.xl.3ivx.mov.
The movie plays OK with Quick Time and if I look at the Movie Info it shows:
Format: 3ivx D4 d.5.2a1, 712x544, Millions+
MPEG-4 Audio, Stereo, 44100 Mhz
Movie: FPS 25
I've tried both DVD Santa and TMPGEnc Plus but neither will open the file.
Can you help please?

try eo video or tmpgenc xpress. or click on tools here to the left and select mov to under conversion.

From looking through various postings on the forum I think the problem is probably that the .mov audio may be protected.
Looked at RAD VIDEO TOOLS and on their FAQ there is mention of this and that there isn't a way around it.
I ran RAD VIDEO TOOLS and converted the file to AVI but when I tried to play it came up with an error about audio protection.
