CCE Basic Help

Hi, I just got it and wondering how to use it? I've been using DVD Shrink, and CCE is totally different from DVD Shrink. In DVD Shrink I re-author. I leave movie only with english audio. Then rip to hard drive as ISO. How can I re-author a dvd with CCE? Or I can't? I see there is passes. Does it have to be 6 passes to be great quality or what? I tried to open the ISO, but it said it isn't a ECL???? Lost here...

You can't use CCE like DVDShrink. At least not directly. DVDRebuilder uses CCE to "shrink" the movie. Do some more reading about what is what.

I am a CCE Basic user and it was all very confusing until DVD Rebuilder came along. There is even a program to set it up for you now and all you have to do is push start after loading your files and the next thing you have to do is burn your disk. This is a COMPLETE DISK back-up program, in Beta at the moment, but most all the bugs are worked out. It has its own thread on www.doom9.net I was like you and had given up on CCE until this program came available
