I am thinking of sending a SHORT video sequence from my Canon camcorder. I guess it will have to be in Windows media format since the recipients are not very computer wise.
I want to make the actual physical size of the video "small"....no need for a full screen play. Can anyone suggest a good screen size for Windows Mediaplayer? I'm after a good quality but small picture.
OR would using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 be a better option and encode to an .mpg file.

Thanks in advance for any help...

    Hello,

Well wmv would give you a smaller file size than mpeg (unless you did xvcd).

Try halfd1 at 352x480 or if it's not that great of a source use vcd resolution

My son's grandparents will thank you two...
I never thought of VCD quality. I'm so hung up on mpeg2 recently I forgot how "cool looking" my old VCD's used to be. That should be plenty.....thank you guys.....my brain must have been elsewhere...
