  1. I'm authoring for the first time with DVD Lab and I'm having a couple of problems. First, should I be able to hear audio in my movie preview window? I'm not hearing anything, but the frameserved file I imported does have audio. Second, I somehow have hidden my assets window. My preview window now covers the entire bottom third of my screen from right to left. I don't know how I did it, but I'd like the screen to look like the opening screen from DVD Lab. If I try to start over, DVD Lab gives me the same look, not the original windows. Thanks.

I've never heard audio in the preview.
The windows moving around on their own is a problem DVD-Lab has had for quite some time. You can click-drag the windows. Move the 2nd third (assets) down to the bottom and then move the preview window to the right side. Should look like the default setup.

Can anyone confirm if the Pro version(s) has this window problem addressed?

The preview window does not have audio when viewing video. In some installations (depending on what codecs you have set up) you can drop the audio stream on the preview window and hear audio. You cannot have both at the same time though.

I sometimes have the windows shift on me. I have never found a satisfactory solution, and all it takes (for me, anyway) is to drag them back into place on the occassional times it happens.
