Using original VOB menu

Is it possible to use the existing ripped VOB menu file when authoring a DVD. If so can it be done in DVD LAB. Otherwise I need to find a way
to extract the image from the VOB and convert it to a BMP or JPG , I guess. Also I have TMPGenc DVD Author and the ac3 plugin. I cannot get the program to accept 5.1 ac3. What could be the problem.

In don't know DVDLab, so I can't answer that part of the question.
But if you want to extract a bitmap file, you can probably do that many ways:
- Use DVD2AVI
- Use PowerDVD (DVD Player) to play your VOB file, and use the snapshot option...
- There's probably many more ways...
