Hi
I've captured footage using a USB TV box and want to author to a DVD.
The MPEG-2 DVD compliant stream plays fine in Media Player. The details are : Video = MPEG-2 Video, Upper Field First, 24 bits, 720x576, 16:9, 25 FPS, data rate 4350kpbs and Audio = MPEG Audio Layer 2 files, 48000Hz, 16 bit, stereo, 2 layer, bit rate 256 kbps.
TMPEG DVD Author gives "Could not intialise decoder". Ulead DVD Workshop2 and Ulead Movieactory 3 work fine with no error but the resulting VOB files (played via PowerDVD) play with the audio and video out of sync by about 0.25 of a second.
Have tried using Womble MPEG-VCR to demux audio and video and then remux with an A/V delay then author with Ulead. Result starts Ok but by end of footage out of sync again.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Are you sure that ulead doesn't reconvert the video or audio?

Baldrick. Thanks for replying.
The "Do not convert compliant MPEG files" is ticked. The resulting authored VOBs start Ok but further into the footage the audio/video become out of sync. I've checked the point at which this becomes really noticable (about 50mins into a 100mins footage length) and its fine when the original footage is viewed via Media Player right up to the end.
Is it possible MF3 is dropping video frames which cumulate until the difference becomes noticable?
Any further tips would be appreciated.
