Have had two different copies of From Justin To Kelly from same source. DVD Shrink encounters "Cyclic redunancy" errors, and, if I try DVD Decyrpter first, it encounters read errors in one file.
Is there something about this movie that defies "back up"?
Checked shrink with different disc of a another movie, anayized fine, so I don't think shrink or decyrpter are corrupted.

    Hello,

There are plenty of other rippers out there, smartripper for one. Here's a list of others to try:

  3. It is more than likely the actual disc (spot on the disc).

    2 things to try:

    1. play the dvd on your pc player using wmp or intervideo, etc. THEN, try to rip it
    2. Rip what you can in file mode to your hard drive. THEN let the drive cool down and try to rip just the vob file that is giving you problems

the disc could be dirty with smudges or something. you could try using a older version of DVD SHRINK like version 3.05. you can find it at this link:
