    Hello,

Use the “Direct to Disk” feature in DVD Movie Factory to capture and burn to disk

Any dvd authoring software will automatically recognize this format

It's a cheap (low quality) capture device made by ADS. It's their second-generation USB capture box. The first one, the USB Instant DVD was a sync nightmare because it used the PC sound card for audio capture.

The second gen. box of theirs has improved the sync, but now the video quality is abysmal. ADS never really got a handle on making these things right. I would avoid them. There are many good quality cards and boxes out there made by Canopus, Hauppauge (WinTV), etc. And inexpensive. No need to go with poorly designed stuff like ADS anymore.

Do a forum search here and you'll likely see a few screen grabs from truly awful captures the Instant DVD produces

Comments are the author's opinion alone, and your mileage may vary

And ..I'm moving this to the Capturing forum ...hold on to something .....
