  2. Windows Media Player is probably not using the same codec to decode your Divx as The Playa is. You can have more than 1 divx codec installed. I'm pretty sure that The Playa will use the divx codec that came with it.

That is probably why you are experienceing this problem in Media Player and not The Playa.

  3. Hi!
I'm sure I have only Divx 4 codec installed. But, how can I select wich codec Windows Media Player uses?

    Thanks again

  5. I think the problem is the Windows Media Player of Winxp/2000, because I used 6.4 version running over XP and everything was right. I said it's a strange problem, didn't I?

    Thanks.

  6. I have both an old version of WMP and the new XP version (the old one was from windows 2000) The problem seems to be with the new XP version. When I try to play movies on the new one, it only plays the sound and shows a visualization instead of the video. Ironically, the old version plays it correctly.

  7. One more thing I forgot to mention...
When I use divx for video and pcm for video everything works well in all programs. The problem appears when I use divx + mp3.

  8. I have that problem with every divx file above 240 lines. That problem occours in many computers I've tested. All other video format works perfectly. I've tested divx 4 and 3.11 and both formats cause such error.
I don't know what I can do to solve this.
    Help me, please.

  9. I've found the problem. The guilty is my processor. When I use WMP 6.4 and set the video quality to a low value, everything works well. I have to upgrade my CPU.
    Thanks.
