  1. Here is a new project for Sun, called Looking Glass. This is a completely new desktop environment- its 3D! Just check out the screenshots and videos here:

  5. how much system resource are those gonna take up?
    I agree- but its an interesting idea. Also, it would probably be fine for some basic computer operations- surfing the web and word processing.

    Has anyone tried it?
