    Hi guys, maybe you can help me out here...
    When trying to burn a video or audio cd with Nero 5.5.5.1 I am getting the following message:

    THE MEDIUM IS NOT WRITABLE. PLEASE INSERT A WRITABLE MEDIUM.

    I tried several diferrent CD-R's nad R-W's and it won't work. Medium-Info command recognizes them all as blank recordable CD's with the appropriate capacity.

    Does anyone know how to fix this???

    heheeeehhhe...This made me remember my first days of burning. I got this when trying to re-use a CDRW and didn't know that I needed to do an ERASE first if the RW had been previously used. Try doing a quick erase and give it another spin, worked wonders for me...

    Oh...not sure what it would mean if its a CDR, sorry.
