    I have been using DVD Shrink 3.2 to re-author DVD. Nero to burn. When I play these back sometimes they "freeze" or pause for a split second. Is there anything I can do to stop this or is this something you have to live with?

    What media are you burring your backups on. Try different brands of media. TY and Ritek are some good media to use.

    Are you playing back in your pc or dvd player. some more info would be useful.

    I have used Memorex & Mitsumi DVD-r for burning. Play back is in JVC home dvd player.

    What burner are you using? Some people have complained about similar problems with discs I burned on the LG 4120B. I sent that one back and got an NEC 3500 and haven't had any complaints since.
