has anyone ripped a copy of swordfish

i have tried on 2 different ocasions to rip a copy of this movie and have faild on my 2nd disc and 3rd disc there are memory erors can anyone help me out or tell me how they hav tgotten around this problem?

i don't think there's something inherently wrong with the discs or your ripping proggie (i'm assuming it's either smartripper or dvddecrptor cuz if it's some other proggie, then that could be your problem)

i was able to rip it fine. it could be some aspi problem or perhaps try cleaning the bottom of the DVD disc..dirty discs have given me problems in the past too

yes rty cleaning the botom of your disc becuse i had a spec of black dust on it and it gave me probles ...and also install the latest ASPI Layer.....go download ForceASPI 1.7 at http://www.doom9.org

YEAH TRY CLEANING THE DISC, OR TRY USING CLAD DVD, THAT'S WHAT I USED TO RIPP SWORDFISH, AND IT WORKED GREAT, OUT!

Use tempeg and smart ripper, never have any problems!

ok thanks guys this time around i did clean the dvd before i ripped it and i use smart rupper to rip it and got the same results maybe i'll just buy thisone

I tried to rip this one too, brand new, out of the package. The problem is that my DVDR is a big pussy, and rips crappy. Sometimes, I can put old discs that are scratched up in it and it reads great, but new, perferct discs it falters. As I said, it is a pussy. My wife's DVDR rips every thing I throw at it. I think I need a new drive.
