Are you talking about a DVD authoring program that you use to make chapters with etc.?

If so I suggest you try TMPGEnc DVD Author because it is very easy to use in so many aspects including selecting chapter stops. In fact I have yet to see another DVD authoring program make this feature so damn easy!

On top of that the program is "rock solid" with no major nor minor bugs.

Some people complain that you are limited by design choice with the type of menus you can make and I guess that is true ... but only to an extent. With enough "play time" to learn the program and a dash of creativity you can make decent enough looking menu designs.

Functionality over form is the key here.

    P.S.
Of course this program is not freeware. I am not too familiar with too many freeware DVD authoring programs otherthan dvdauthor but that ain't the most user friendly program to use. In short I'm not aware of any other freeware DVD authoring programs ... well there is IfoEdit but again that is not very user friendly and somewhat limited.

As for TMPGEnc DVD Author ... when you download it and install it you get something like 2 to 4 weeks (I forget which) to use it (fully featured) before it "locks up" on you ... at which point you have to register it (aka BUY IT) to get it to work again. So it ain't free but you get a free trial period to use it and see if you like it or not.
