What's the SIMPLEST method to add scrolling up credits for the end of a video and/or credits that fade in and out at the beginning of a video? -- Just like in the movies.
I aleady know about SSA and VirtualDub's Subtitler filter, but is there any other simpler way? A more user friendly approach perhaps?

The easiest way is Flash. Just type the words as an object and color them white, color the background black, set the text to the bottom for frame 1, set the text to the top for frame however fast you want it to go, save as an AVI.
If you don't have Flash, get it. It's totally worth getting it, you can make the most amazing beautiful profession graphics/animations with it. Plus it makes you more valuable in the workplace. -
SWEET! Thanks!
Ok so I can use that for scrolling credits, but what about fading in/out credits while the video is playing (i.e. Warner Bros. presents, etc.) I just made each a bitmap with a solid background and then used VDub to logo it on, then Premiere and fade it in and out the original with the logo text. It's a long process, but that's the only way I can think of. So how would I go about doing the fade in/out text?

P.S. -- Flash as in Macromedia?
