  1. I have a 6 gig avi file that I would like to burn to dvd and I am need some software that will not only allow me to do this, but convert it to a realplayer file, play dvds. Can someone help me with this please.

  3. Ok maybe I need to rephrase that. I would like someone to tell what is the best software for converting avi, wmv, etc and will play these formats?

    conversion use Mainconcept MPEG Encoder or TMPGEnc

    for playing them use vlc media player
    windows media player can also play those

    just double click on the name of the tools if you want to get them...
    hacking the Net using typewriter :D
