  1. I tried ripping ReBoot episodes off my DVDs (which are a computer generated television series -- Actually the first C.G. T.V. series in the world) outputting in 24fps progressive frames and it still produces interlaced video. Even deinterlacing the progressive frames still has SOME visible interlaced lines. WHY??? I haven't tried any other CG DVDs like FinalFantasy or Toy Story, but is it just me or just the CG DVD in general?

  2. What is your incoding method? What encoder do you use(TMPGEnc?) and how do you feed it(Flask? DVDx? DVD2AVI) and what are your settings?

Without this information, no one can even begin to help you.

  4. One thing I would suggest is to try using DVD2AVI. The reason I say this is because it will tell you if your DVD is hybrid, rather than pure 23.976 or 29.976 fps. This apparently is common with anime and some types of animation. If it is, things get a little more complex.
