    I need to know how to resize image i paste into photoshop. I am trying to make a collage but i need to resize the multiple images i paste into the main image (a white 8x10)

    Search Comp PM
    select the layer of the image and go to your "edit" menu. Down to "transform", then "scale".

    If you want to keep the current ratio, then make sure you click the rubber band between the height and width at the top of the screen.

    I typically click the rubber band, then click inside the height or width box and then use the scroll wheel to resize.

    Screw all that clicking.

    On the layer you want to scale hit Apple+t (Alt+t)
    Click and drag a corner to resize
    Hold Shift and move a corner to keep aspect ratio
    Hold Option and move a corner to scale towards the center
    Hold Option + Shift and move a corner to scale towards the center and retain aspect ratio

  5. Is that before or after you have to force quit Mac Photoshop because it freezes when anything streneous is required of it?

    To be 100% honest. Photoshop has never crashed on me. In fact none of the Adobe lins has crashed on me. They are very well written and extremely stable. Even on my 450mhz cube.
