We occasionally use Camtasia Studio at work to overlay imagery on captured streaming video. We had an AVI capture that was imported into Camtasia as a starting point for a new AVI we wanted. We used the Camtasia production capability to create the new AVI using Indeo 5.10 with a Keyframe at every 6th frame.

The problem is that this newly rendered AVI plays very slowly on other players (Windows MP, RealPlayer). I decided to bring this AVI home and try to fix it. I have VirtualDub and TMPGEnc. How would I go about fixing the running speed of this AVI?

BTW, the AVI has no audio.

Load it into Virtualdub, set the audio and video to direct stream copy then under video you can select a different frame rate, save avi.

Thanks Zippy. I'll give it a go.
