Can any body help i have been recording films from the television but sometimes the recorder starts to early or finnishes to late and therefore i want to remove the surplus recording
I have finalised the recording from my sony standalone DVD recorder and would like to know how i can remove the additional unwanted recording and what software to use

You basically have to demux audio and video out of your VOBs, (ReJig) then multiplex them back together (TMPGEnc), cut the unwanted parts out with an mpeg editor (Womble mpeg vcr) and author a new DVD (TMPGEnc DVD Author) with your edited mpegs as source material.
