  1. Hello.

I am new to using DVDFab and have been reading at DOOM9 and other places for some help but can never find the information I am seeking.

I have tried backing up an original DVD into 2 DVD+R media (since I want to keep everything on the original DVD). I used the split feature of DVDFab and it worked great.

The problem is in the playback. When I set the spoken language say to French when watching the first DVD disk on my standalone DVD player, there is no problem, but when I placed in the second DVD disk, the spoken language goes back to English.

Can anyone shed some light into this please. How can I over come this problem?

    Thanks for any help.

    Cheers,

    Chi.

  2. When you eject disk one, the player resets and looses menu selections you made with that disk. When you insert disk two, it'll play the default audio track, which I assume is English in this case.

I'm also assuming disk two has no menus. You'll have to use the audio button on your remote control to change audio playback to French.

Alternatively you may be able to change your player's preferences so that it will automatically select French , if your player supports that. I've never set the language preference on my player, and every player has a different preferences screen, so I can't tell you how to do it.
