A quick question:
So far ive recorded 2 cassette tapes into the computer and converted them into seperate MP3 tracks @192kbps (I saved the original .wav files to DVD) and I run into a slight challenge. I found that you can create folders on the disc so as to hold different album titles with songs and everything else, but my problem is that in placing these in Nero I can't seem to organize the tracks in the same order that it was on the tape (Nero keeps alphabetizing them A-Z and can't change the order) and I want to place them in the order that it was on the original tape. Im not sure if Jukebox is capable of doing this either. I do know that the folders have to be placed on the root directory of the CD so pretty much I can line up as many folders that will fit on the disc. I just need some help as to getting the individual song files organized to the order that the original cassette tapes. Any help would be appreciated.

I just precede the titles with a sequence number, that way they stay in the order I want them,
e.g.
"FilenameA.mp3"
"FilenameB.mp3"
"FilenameC.mp3"
becomes
"01-FilenameA.mp3"
"02-FilenameB.mp3"
"03-FilenameC.mp3"
(it's important to use the leading zero if there are more than 9 titles in the directory to maintain the sort order). -
VTM,
I've seen this complaint before about Nero, I don't know why they don't fix it, or at least give you the option to auto-sort or adjust the play order to the one you want without having to use the method that bunyip uses (I've had to do the same thing, too).
IIRC, Easy CD Creator (Now Easy Media Creator 7) allows you to drag the files to the order you want and burn them that way, without having to append the files with a number.Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny -
Well, players also sort the titles in alphabetical order. Although they may have been burnt on the CD in the order you want them - when they players display the list and play in sequence they usually sort them first so they play out of order.
By numbering them you can be sure that they also play in the correct sequence as well.
