    Howdy,

    My trusty DVD300i reads other discs fine, but when I put in a dual layer Disney disc the read light comes one and stays on and never stops. The movie is not accessible. I have tried 4 different Disney discs. I end up having to reboot because the drive won't even eject the disc.
    I have updated the firmware.

    Any one else have this problem?

    you know all newly made dvds are all dual layer. So its not reading becasue of that factor. check to see if there is lint/dust/scratches. Also, what are you trying to do with dvd? Play it, reord it?

    I have had the HP300i for over 2years now and not one problem....
