    I have a intelli mouse problem. It seems after I reformated my computor that everytime I put a cd or dvd disk in my drive the mouse freezes up and so does my computer. I then have to reboot. I am running xp pro, I have the intelli mouse optical 1.1a usb and ps/2 compatiable. I am currently using the ps/2 connection.

    If the whole computer freezes up along with your mouse, why do you assume it's a mouse problem?

    Good point. I guess it could be a drive problem also. Or anything for that matter.
