  1. i have a concert file thats an AVI format.. i did find bad frames and have used all the guides discussing them and fixing tham.. only thing is towards the end of the file, audio is badly out of sync(after trying to convert it)

the other thing i have to add is that the file is VBR...

ive tried all kinds of combinations to fix the file and save a new AVI but no luck when i then try and encode with tmpgenc

can someone tell me what to do FIRST...such as save the wav first or mask frames and THEN save AVI and THEN save the wav?

ive tried and tried and tried and have wasted(not really) ALOT of time and cant seem to get it right

    thanx for any help !

I assume you've tried this guide and/or this guide ?

After you've done either one of these, Set Audio to Full Processing, then go to File > Save WAV. Then go to Audio > No Audio, then go to Video > Direct Stream Copy and go to File > Save AVI. When you import into TMPGEnc, use the saved AVI as your video source and the saved WAV as your audio source.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Definitely cut out the bad frames first. Some files are just completely FUBARed (beyond all repair).
