Hi,
When I use Procoder 2 to convert from 23.976 to 25fps the file length ends up different between source and destination.
I.E. it changes the length of the film.
When I use Procoder 1.5 the source and destination file length are kept the same.
I think this has only happened since I updated to Windows XP SP2.
Has anyone else noticed this.

word is v2.0 of Procoder has bugs, and people are reverting back to 1.5 and are quite happy. just passing along with I've read on this forum.

it is not a bug -- in fact there is only 2 bugs in pc2 and both are easy to get around .. it has less bugs in fact than 1.5 and more features -- as to which does the better job, it depends , thogh pc2 is much faster...
pc2 has a time shift feature , which does a better job of conversions by changing the lenth of a stream -- all about it is in the manual, in the help file and on thier web site and in you can adjust (or turn off) it in options .. this feature is great and has been talked about a lot on the procoder owner forums .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

Thanks for the info but I have looked everywhere and cannot find any reference to it. I have searched the Canopus forum and Google and have found no info on the "Time Shift" function.
I have also looked in options and cannot find how to turn it on or off. -
