    I think the F in the those Ferrari model numbers must stand for Flammable. I can't really see him surviving. Especially since there's no motion at all.

    The fuel they use is something like 100+ octane...similar to jet fuel, highly flammable. That's why they have specially design fuel cells on them racers. But still accidents happen. Sad.

    Thats what i figured. it annoys me when normal cars explode into fireballs in films, i was suprised to see it actuallyhappen!

    Jet fuel is like 15-20 octane. Higher octane doesn't equal more flamable...

    Aviation fuel is what he was thinking of. My cousin uses it in his dragster, it's like 110 octane..... $5 or $6 bucks a gallon a few years back, don't know what it ios now. And the link is dead
