I need some recommendations for a cheap but reliable dvd player. I need it to also play dvd-r media and cd-r media. Do they make any player that hook up via coax cable? i have an old tv with only coax connections and no rca cables. thanks

Cyber Home from Samsclub for $34.00 plus Tax, I've been using this thing for 4 months, 10 hours straight in my video store every day, and it's still going. It plays everything I throw at it too.
DVD players don't have coax out, not too sure, you'll need a RF modulator for this, $14.00 at Walmart last I checked.
Hope this helps. -

I have heard that the cyberhome players are good cheap players that take a beatin and keep on tickin.
I am a proud apex guy. I have the 1100w (modded), know of folks with the 1110, and the 1225. It plays everything you throw at it (VCD,XVCD,CVD,SVCD,DVD-R, straight mpeg, wma, mp3*) and they usually run in the $30-$40 range. I got my last one (1225) with a rebate and it brought the cost down to $25.00.
* I dont do dvd+r, so I dont know if it plays them or not.
Look at the dvd player on the ledt
