  1. Hello all, my main video preview window works fine but the one on the bottom left is not ( you are supposed) to be able to view what the extras are etc.... by highlighting then clicking on the play button to see if it is something you want to keep or replace with a still. Thanks in advance for any help and please also reply to klbierley@bellsouth.net

  6. Thanks, I had done that already even after a un-install and re-install ? I was thinking I must not have set someting else up correctly . everything else is working fine. But my video card is an older one. it is a Voodoo3 3dfx but it has always worked with no problems but perhaps that might be the problem ? . Thanks again and I look forward to any more suggestions as you know this feature would be very helpful. Kevin

  7. have you tried upgrading Direct X drivers? I think its up to 9.0c now. Could try upgrading drivers for the video card itself if any newer ones are available.

Unfortunately I've never run into this exact problem and don't have much more insight to offer. Best thing to do would be visit the shrink website and ask on the forums about this.

Had the same problem. Solved by doing this. First select edit. Then select preferences and then the preview tab. Check the "enable audio and video preview" box. (I had already gotten to this step but it still didn't work). Then under "select Direct X video renderer", choose the option "built-in software renderer". After following this last step, the preview window on the lower left now works fine. Hope this works for you.
