  1. Folks,

I have 3mpegs which I want to use to finalise my DVD.
    1mpeg is about logo stuff.
    2mpeg is about photo mpeg
    3rd is video mpeg.
My Q is, I want mpeg1 to be played first, at this time user will not be allowed to use remote to skip.
after this one plays thru, I want to display a chapter info where in user can choose photo/video mpeg
once photo chapter is clicked, I want to display another sub-chapter for photos.
if user click on video chapter, I want to display another chapter for video.
I currently user pinnacle studio9 for creating mpegs.
I also have TMPGEnc DVD author.
Is there anyway, I can do this with these?
if not can anyone pls let me know which one to use and any links for this would be highly appreciated.
    TIA,
    Sai

TMPGEnc DVD Author won't be able able to create the PUO (Prohibited User Operation) for the first track but can do everything else.
    If in doubt, Google it.

DVD-Lab should be able to do it, as should Scenarist, and probably quite a few others. There's a list of authoring softwares here. I daresay that no freeware tool can do it, so you might have to look at the trial of DVD-Lab. If it can do what you need it to do, you have to purchase it because the trial cannot output anything
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. Unless Mediachance changed their policy, the trial of DVD-Lab is fully functional.

    That may be right.

I seem to remember one program (it may or may not have been DVD-lab) that I downloaded the trial version, and one of the restrictions was not being able to output anything

I thought it was DVD-lab but it may not have been.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Well, DVD-LAB and Adobe Encore tend to crash a lot, so it's the same effect pretty much.
