Hi,
I encoded a short feature (source was Premiere .avi file), and created the separate .w2v and .wav files respectively, using TMPGEnc (2-pass VBR used). Everything seems to have worked fine, but when I watched the test burned DVD on my set-top player, I had an audio blank for about 2 seconds near the end of the movie. That is, the sound went blank for about two seconds, and then came back in.
I checked the .avi and it was not the problem. The actual .wav file from TMPGEnc was the bad file, so I know the problem didn't happen during the burn process either. I re-encoded the files again, and got the same exact blank in the audio file, right near the end of the movie.
Does anyone have any idea why I am getting this dropout?? Incidentally, the film was simply a bunch of video clips played over a single song on the audio track.
Thanks!!
