Hi!
I have a big project in adobe premiere (about an hour long) that i want to put on dvd at the highest quality possible.
i know the program has it's own dvd enocidng option but that uses a realtively bad encoder - and i want to use my cce (eith ecl) to make the highest quality possible. and i'll be adding more content to the dvd and make a menu so i want to relatively control the output size to have room for another 15-20 minutes of bonus material... can any explain to me hjow to get the video out of there in the dvd format with the cce encoding?
all i managed to get was a 15 gig avi file
thanks,
Tzvika

CCE does have a premiere plugin. When you install it, it asks for the premiere plugin folder location.
To export using CCE:
EXPORT>MOVIE>SETTINGS>File Type>CINEMA CRAFT MPEG
This is for Premiere 1.5 other versions will be slightly different. -
ok... great... will that work with ecl? (that means i only have the trial version of cce if u know what i mean...)

I think I know what you mean
Some old versions of CCE SP came with Premiere plug-in. However, they seem to be missing from some new releases, e.g. SP 2.67.23, 2.70.03. I don't think they work with ECL, but that's not a big deal. You can enter the settings manually.
