    hey i have recently been trying out media player classic for the first time... it is great but i have encountered a few problems... a couple of times i have been using it and tried to drag the progress bar across to skip to where i want, all of a sudden the audio starts to go funny and then the screen just freezes (then i have to go into task manager and kill the process...)

    has anyone had this happen? any fixes?

    ps. when i run mpc i just downloaded the file and unzipped it... then i just run the mplayerc.exe file. which i have on my non-windows partition...

    as in defrag my hard drive? why...?

    would it be better to run the mplayerc.exe from my C: (windows drive) instead of from my d: (where i store everything else)?
