16x media have been out for some time now. Very few writers support Ritek's 16x media at 16x speed at the moment though and even fewer do it with good result. Actually BenQ DW1620 is basically the only writer at the moment and it writes better at 16x on several 8x media than it does on Ritek's 16x media...
If you want "real" 16x media buy Verbatim's 16x media instead, it's supported at 16x speed with more or less all 16x writers. -
If you are in the US, your local Best Buy, or Fry's, or MicroCenter, or other office/computer store probably has them. On-line check the usual suspects: Amazon.com, Buy.com, Meritline, Supermediastore, Techonweb. Just feed Verbatim part numbers 95033 or 95038 into your favorite price search web site.
