Nero 6 speed dying

When I started with Nero 6 I could burn up to 4x.
Now no matter the media I cant burn over 1x......

Any suggestions?

Can we have a few more details like type and brand of media. Operating System and Burner. Sounds like maybe the burner has changed modes.

You could also look for a firmware update for your burner.

Sorry Mates heres the lingo

I use a lite-on LDW-411S on a Gateway 510S.
512 Ram.

I've tried Verbatim x4 and x8 DVD-R
and Piodata x4 from the Supermedia store
and Memorex 4x.

I used to burn everything at 4x - Just got the computer about three months ago.
I tried the DMA thing as well as unplugging the cables from the DVD drive and replugging them AND upgrading Nero....

fliptricky, are you using a demo version of Nero?
If yes, it might simply have ran out.
If no, I'm stumped,
