  1. Hi everyone.

I happy to present you the new myDVDEdit 0.8 version.
    http://www.macetvideo.com/mydvdedit/mydvdedit.html

You can now add, remove, modify, move any command in the pre/post/cell command tables.

    Copy/Paste Undo/Redo are available too.

I hope you like it, it's just a begining.

    see you

  3. Nice progress!

Would it be possible to add a "Copy screenshot" command to grab the current videoframe? I haven't found a simple way to do this on the Mac yet.

I need something that copies the full resolution (720x576 PAL or 480 for NTSC) Quicktime player for example does some weird aspect ratio conversion when you try to copy frames from it.

  4. Hi
Yes, I plan to do that, but not now.
I prefer continue to implement edit functionality before doing that.
I think you could do this with YadeX. look here

yes, a other french MacEtVideo product

  5. hi myDVDEdit

first off: thanks for making this app i gonna try it right now with a dvd and i wanna see what i can do so far.

now my question: will you do a tutorial for this app so users without expirence, should be many as this is the first real public ifo-editor for mac, of edting a finished dvd will know what to do what're trying to do?

will you also add options like add, replace, delete tracks (audio, subs or even video)?

will there also a possible solution to fix layer-break points on dual layer dvds (tfdvdedit has this)?

    Hi.
I made a tutorial, but... in french. Sorry, my english are too bad to translate a so technical application. You can try automatic web translaters but it's more like chines.
I think you'll could find tutorials later on english forum when myDVDEdit will be more functional.
You can find english documentations about DVD
    here and here

    Yes, add/delete vts files/titles/pgcs/prgms/chapters/cells/streams/buttons
myDVDEdit is a ambibitious application, but I'm alone (and I want make it good) so you nead to be patient.

I dont think I can fix leyer-break. I think only the burn application can do that. I'll looking for informations about that.

Glad to hear it's planned. No rush, the editing functions are equally cool.

Regarding Yade; it doesn't copy the full resolution (720x576) either, just like QT player it does some stupid aspect correction thingy or whatever. I can't remember exactly what at the moment, but the screenshots weren't useful.

  9. You can also try this. It captures images using the dvdplayer, although only at 72dpi, so not sure if that will help you.
