A few weeks ago I posted (Check above link) about my job problems. Got a lot of answers, and help from the people here...so here is the outcome.

Next month, on the 10th of December, it's over between us (My business partner and I) . He did not put up much of a fight. The reason being, I was calm, smooth...and I mentioned the word "Canadian International Lawyers Assosication" (I don't even think that exists. Anyway, it's not like he can check because he wouldn't be able to remember the name. I DID however visit my local town hall lawyer, and city hall. Both told me the same thing

"Althought this is a difficult situation, and nothing can be guarranteed 100 percent, you can leave without having to pay any money. In fact, if he demands that you pay for losses it would be wise to remind him that in court YOU would ask for losses which total the amount of about 130,000 American dollars."

This is what I did, and as soon as he heard those words, he was more than a little shocked. I mentioned that I visited lawyers, including the FAKE lawyer above, as a precaution to leaving the school. I got it all on the voice recorder him saying, and had a mountain of proof showing my work put into the school, as well as work done for free for his OTHER company...his answer "OK, let's quit the school, it's over." So there is no turning back for him. Anyway, I am sticking around until the end of the month to support my students who still have lessons at the schools. Then they all become private students and I start making money again. From now until then, I won't see him and he won't see me except for the final day, when I hand in my keys.

Let me just say, it felt GOOOD!! Anyway, today has been a pretty good day. AND, I've already got a job lined up which only needs me for 3 days a week (But pays for 5)...hope to be paying off those bills soon.

ANYWAY...that was just the update. If anything else should happen, you guys will know!!

  5. Teaching kids...for some reason I'm good with the kids and with the house wives...if only the high school girls were more into me. It's out in the middle of nowhere, so they have a hard time getting a teacher, so the salary is pretty good for the short amount of time.

EDIT: On that note...when I told one of my younger cuter students, I was leaving, she started crying. It's nice to know that at least one cutie is gonna miss me.

Somehow, nothing with the word 'Canadian' strikes fear in my heart. :P

    Except maybe this...

LOS ANGELES - A Canadian man, angry that he was refused a plane ticket to Australia at Los Angeles International Airport, stripped naked, sprinted across the tarmac and climbed into the wheel well of a moving jumbo jet, officials said.

Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

I don't think the word "Canadian" was what got his attention. The fact that it would be a government lawyer dealing with the situation is what got his attention. He know's I am Canadian, so it's not like I could say anything else.
