I have some Divx 5.0 files that will play fine on the computer, but when played on DVP 642 the colors look like red and blue are switched. Any ideas?
Thanks,

I'll start with the easiest... does anything play OK on the player? If not, and you are using component video connections, make sure that you have not swapped two of the three leads.

check the forum for the fix for this. i know some other folks had some issues similar and fixed them with cable switching or menu

heres what i do to fix that problem
go to the system menu,/video options/tv standard, and then switch between multi and ntsc,
each time you get that red and blue sceen, try this, has worked for me every time for some reason
