  1. bit of a weird probbo here. when converting a divx to mpeg in tmpgenc as you know you can see the movie being converted on-screen (in the small preview window). What's happening on my system is that when the final mpeg has been created and I play it back (in powerdvd or media player) the movie plays back in the same way as the tmpgenc preview - i.e. a couple of frames at a time.

    it's dead weird.

let me know if you know of anything i can do.

    Hello,

What frame rate did you encode it to??? Ntsc/pal is 25fps/30fps....

---Also, are you converting to mpg2 for dvd burning??? If so author it and burn to a dvdrw, if its still funky on a standalone than you need to reencode the divx file --
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  4. my friend had a similar problem, and it might be because your mother board is overheating and your power supply is dying. His power supply finally died, we replaced it and put a new fan in aswell and it didn't happen anymore. I'd look into that.
