Dead printer?

I've cleaned the heads five times and I still can't get any yellow out of the printer's head. Went as far as changing the cart. and I still get the same problem. FWIW, I've literally got THOUSANDS of full page color prints off the computer.

Is it dead?

If you have cleaned the head repeatedly and changed the cart, then I would say it is dead.

Put that head in boiling water (take the water off the stove for a minute first to cool a bit) for 5 minutes. Just the part with the jet on it. I usually use a styrofoam cup.

You didn't say what printer this is.

eh...how the hell do I get the head off an Epson C82? Is it something I'll have to take the whole machine apart over?

I do believe they are being sold now for about the price of a set of carts, even free with some cameras after rebate.

Not backing to see if you are US and can rebate.

Otherwise, don't know if cart carrier C82 is removeable/replaceable.
