Probelm with virtualdubmod

SVCD player required, please turn on PBC to show photos is the message I receive when I do the following


"Load it and then hit file/save image sequence. It will output a bmp for each frame and then you could batch encode these to jpg using Irfanviewer. It would only take a min or so."

what do I need to do. I am trying to convert movie clips from an SVCD to JPG files, is this the easiest route? or should I be using another program?
