WMP 10

Just updated WMP 9 with 10. wont play my mpegs. Reinstalled PowerDVD5 and WinDVD5 for codecs!! Sound but no video!! Anyone else having this problem?

Yep! WMP 10, fucked up my sound also.

It was my DivX-XviD files with AC3 sound that didn't work after the installation. I Uninstalled and Reinstalled the AC3 codec and got it to work again.

And for mpegs thay work in Power dvd, BUT... they just crashing WMPLAYER. They start up, hangs, and then WMPLAYER stops responding... don't know what to do !!??

Very not so good upgrade.... MS#¤/%@£@$£ aarrgghhhhh!!!

Installed XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility, seems they want you to pay and obtain more codecs from people like cyberlink. Also found WMP 10 plays most of my mpeg2 but not mpeg1. ie VCD??
Also some of mpegs that play the aspect ratio changes unlike WMP9 and WinDVD, PowerDVD etc.

I installed the new ffdshow on my system, and suddenly everything works again.
Seems like the installation of WMP10 does really bad things to your PC.
