    I a trying to find out which software is best for video editing. I am mainly looking to enhance, despeckle, remove noise etc from avi and mpg video files. Sometmes I come across video files that dont have good resolution or the colors are way too much faded.
    Adobe premier is way too complicated. Plus it can not despeckle which I think is very important in giving a clean look to the video file.
    Can someone provide their input as to which software may be most suitable for enhancing ?

    enhance, despeckle, remove noise etc from avi and mpg video files - for that , virtualdubMOD or avisysnth or vdub filters in vegas with wax plugin .
