    Right now I use a IO Magic 4x burner and all of the sudden my movies are taking 30-50 minutes instead of 25-35. I'm really getting fed up with this IO Magic crap and I dont know what else to do to speed this peice of garbage up without just spending the money on a new burner.

    I can do an 8x burn with 8x-Prodisc media at 8:30. 6x at 11:00 and 4x at 15:00.

    Sounds like something is amiss with the mode its running in PIO instead of DMA... Even at 4x you should be burning in 15 mins.....
    Not bothered by small problems...
