hi i'm trying to convert a div3 avi movie file to svcd format but the audio gradually goes out of sync.i suspect is the fps problem and after using gspot to check the output, there is a problem.
The source avi fps is 23.976 and i used tmpgenc's ntsc-film selection to encode into svcd but it always give me 29.970fps output.. Other than that i also used the extracted audio wave file using goldwave when encoding. Is there anyway to correct this probelm? thanks in advanced.

About the only thing you can do is stretch or shrink the audio to get it back in sync,i had this problem with one divx3 clip and by the time it got to the end it was 17 seconds out of sync but stretching it fixed it.Use goldwave to stretch or shrink the audio as needed.Tmpgenc's ntsc-film selection is the correct one for 23.976,it encodes at 23.976 and applies 3:2 pulldown so it will play at 29.97 fps which is needed for svcd playback in a dvd player.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
