Hey everyone , thanks for your time to read this. I recently installed a new hard drive on my computer, and once I had the Windows XP Home Edit. OS installed, I installed the drivers for my ATI Radeon 9200 128MB video card.

Everything was great until I ran into some audio trouble and realized I hadn't installed the motherboard drivers for the onboard audio and lan. I put in the NVidia Disk thinking I would be able to choose just the audio driver to install, but instead I launched the setup screen for ALL the drivers (video included).

After this my ATI SmartGart display is showing a 1x card when it really is a 4x/8x card. It was working great as a 4x card before I accidentally installed the Nvidia driver, then it shows up as a 1x card all of a sudden.

Finally, I went into device manager and looked up my display adapter and it showed a Radeon 9200 and also a Radeon 9200 (secondary).

This I've never seen before, so I don't know how to fix it. I'm thinking that perhaps the Nvidia driver and the ATI driver don't like one another - imagine that. I don't know what to uninstall or install.

Any advice would be great, thanks again for your time.

Have you installed the latest ATI Catalyst drivers for your card? Seemed to solve the bugs I was having with my Radeon 9200SE.

I had to uninstall the latest Catalyst and go back to the 4.8 Version.
