  1. Using MainConcept Mpeg Encoder to convert .avi to Mpeg2 and the resulting file is upside down.

    How do I fix it?

OK that topic didn't really address my issue.

    Couple things:

    1. If I uninstall my codecs I won't be able to play my files.

    2. This only happened with ONE FILE using Mpeg Encoder.

I'd do the conversion with TMPGEnc but it keeps stopping halfway through.

All my other files convert fine with TMPGEnc or Mpeg Encoder and as a result I don't want to uninstall my codecs and screw things up across the board.

I just need to know if there is some kind of setting on Mpeg Enocder to keep the file from inverting.

Use Virtual dub filter to flip your video right side up, then use VFAPI to make a pseudo AVI file Main concept can use to encode the file to MPEG.

I believe the guide said to uninstall then re-install only the codecs that you need .
