how to burn divx with chapters?

I just recently got the phillips 642 and love it

but when I made a divx cd I was unable to skip ahead with either the chapter skip or fast forward

is there any way to add chapters on a divx disc?

and how come it would not fast forward?

dont think theres any way to put chapters in divx/xivd u could split the file into say 10minute pieces but that really isnt a solution, dont know about the philips player as i use a yamada playet for divx etc, i have no trouble fast forwarding u could try using the disc goto button it should have 1 most dvd players do and just jump to a certain time on the disc, as i said i dont know much about the philips player but a firmware update might help also

Divx and Xvid files have a list of keyframes at the end. If the list is missing you can't seek. If you downloaded the file in question this could be the problem (the original Napster had a bug where it would chop off the end of some files). You can use a program called DivFix to recreate the keyframe list.

Also, be sure you closed both the session and the disk after burning it. The phillips 642 doesn't like open sessions and disks.
