Does anyone know how to Stop a PnP device in Window$ 2000 without the PnP icon in the system tray? I have a DRU-500A and a 40GB IDE drive connected. They show up and they work fine, but I'd like to disconnect the IDE drive properly while still in Window$ without rebooting. Any ideas on other ways to stop the devices OR how to get the PnP icon on the taskbar.

Nevermind. I found it. If anyone else comes across this issue where the icon isn't showing up in the system tray. Go to Control Panel and open Add / Remove Hardware. Go through the process of removing one of the PnP devices and make sure to check the box to show the icon in the system tray on the last step.
